11 Keller ISD Students Named National Math Stars Finalists

Eleven Keller ISD elementary students have been selected as 2026 National Math Stars finalists, earning recognition among more than 8,000 applicants nationwide.

The Keller ISD finalists are:

• Joshua Vu – Heritage Elementary School, Pathfinder
• Sia Sultan – Willis Lane Elementary, Voyager
• Alicea Fitzgerald – Shady Grove Elementary, Pathfinder
• Emily Cordell – Woodland Springs Elementary, Pathfinder
• Elise Lockhart – Bluebonnet Elementary, Voyager
• En Shin Yeh – Woodland Springs Elementary, Pathfinder
• Joaquin Prieto – Bette Perot Elementary, Pathfinder
• Jeremy Gyimah – Shady Grove Elementary, Pathfinder
• Neel Kashuvajjala – Ridgeview Elementary School, Pathfinder
• Neel Deepak – Willis Lane Elementary, Pathfinder
• Ameen Zeki – Independence Elementary, Pathfinder

These finalists represent some of the most talented young mathematicians identified through this year's selection process. National Math Stars is expected to announce which finalists will become National Math Stars in late August.

The National Math Stars Program is a 10-year, fully funded initiative designed to identify and support exceptional young math scholars from second grade through high school. Students in the program receive access to more than $100,000 in resources and opportunities – including advanced math enrichment, summer camps, competitions, family advising, and a nationwide network of mentors and peers.
