ESL

My name is Julie Clark and I am the ESL Specialist at Ridgeview Elementary.  I have been a professional educator for 25 years!  I grew up in the Fort Worth area and graduated from University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts in French.  I then attended the University of North Texas to complete my studies toward a Reading Specialist and Elementary Educator certification.  During my first eleven years, I taught 3^rd and 4^th grade in both Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD and Keller ISD.  My specialties and favorites were ELA and social studies.  Then for the next eleven fantastic years, I was a gifted and talented specialist in Keller ISD.  I love learning and growing, so last year I was blessed again by becoming an ESL specialist for the district.  I am having so much fun learning with and from our emergent bilingual students!  They amaze me every day!  I have three grown children who live close by, and my husband and I love to travel to new places whenever we have the chance.
